About the job
Recognised as a centre of expertise under the Specialised Education Act, the CPHV promotes the inclusion of people with visual impairments in Romandy. It is part of the Asile des aveugles Foundation, founded in Lausanne in 1843, which includes the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital in Lausanne, the social service and low vision rehabilitation, the vision science research centre, and the Clair-Soleil EMS in Ecublens, a medico-social establishment specially adapted for elderly people with low vision.
To complete our team, we are looking for a
Educational Intern
To support pupils with visual impairments within the school and boarding school of the CPHV, Lausanne, full-time position
Your mission
- Support young pupils with visual disabilities in their practical and academic projects.
- Support pupils and young people during boarding times and supervised homework sessions.
- In collaboration with the class teachers, imagine, adapt, and propose ideas or activities related to the specific needs of each pupil.
- Participate in the follow-up of each pupil’s individualised educational plan.
- Support and motivate pupils to develop autonomy in daily tasks and socialisation within the group.
