Exciting tasks await:

• Procurement, pre- and post-processing of teaching materials for practical lessons (including microbiology, molecular biology, collection of living material)
• Care and supervision of animal and plant breeding as well as management of the biology department's collection
• Maintenance of the biology laboratory: cleaning of glassware & measuring instruments; purchasing of consumables, maintenance of equipment, inventory control of chemicals, etc.

What you bring:

• Completed training as a biology laboratory technician or a comparable qualification
• Work experience in a laboratory-related field desirable and experience in an educational environment advantageous
• Strong organisational skills and an initiative-taking, independent personality
• Cooperative work with the biology department teachers as well as laboratory technicians from other departments
• Joy and enthusiasm for a dynamic working environment with young people
