Role:
In the role of Senior Specialist Financial Accounting, you take on a key position where you contribute your expertise to efficient, high-quality processes. You are responsible for the professional handling of financial accounting and ensure that all processes are transparent, reliable and sustainable. Responsibilities:
- You manage financial accounting including general ledger, asset accounting, banks as well as project and cost centre accounting for CKS and other companies.
- In this role, you are responsible for timely and accurate monthly and consolidated reporting according to US GAAP and local regulations in OneStream.
- You prepare, coordinate and support internal and external audits as well as implement and monitor SOX controls.
- As Senior Specialist Financial Accounting, you organise correct tax and VAT declarations in several countries in cooperation with external specialists.
- You lead and monitor intercompany billing, reconciliations, payment flows and cooperation with the shared service centre in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- In this role, you maintain the financial master data landscape (chart of accounts, cost centres, business units) and ensure the quality of financial data through reconciliations and analyses.
Qualifications:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting or an equivalent qualification in accounting (e.g. Swiss federal diploma).
- You have several years of experience in international accounting, ideally including VAT and SOX compliance.
- You communicate very confidently in German and English, both orally and in writing, and can explain complex matters clearly.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and use advanced functions for analyses and reporting.
- You work analytically and structured, pay attention to details and confidently set priorities even with parallel projects.
- You actively identify improvement opportunities in processes, enjoy working with virtual teams and promote an open, collaborative team culture.
