Senior Physician in Medicine and Emergency Medicine (m/f/d)
Role:
Would you like to take on responsibility as a specialist in General Internal Medicine while enjoying predictable working conditions? In this role, you will be responsible for a varied range of duties in medicine and emergency medicine within a familiar acute care setting. You can organise your workload with fixed working days and the possibility of job sharing so that it fits your personal life situation. At the same time, the position offers you an attractive development perspective towards the role of Senior Consultant or Lead Physician.
Responsibilities:
- You are an integral part of the lively clinical operation and contribute to the high-quality, holistic care of your patients
- In this role, you care for inpatients on the ward and IMC as well as outpatients in the emergency department
- As a Senior Physician in Medicine and Emergency Medicine, you actively support the training and education of assistant doctors
- You work collegially and closely with other specialist departments as well as referrers
- In this function, you can take advantage of job sharing and benefit from fixed working days if desired
- As a Senior Physician in Medicine and Emergency Medicine, you have the opportunity to develop further towards becoming a Lead Physician
Qualifications:
- You hold the specialist title in General Internal Medicine (with foreign diploma recognised by MEBEKO)
- Ideally, you have experience in sonography and wish to expand your ultrasound skills through certified tutors
- You appreciate the challenge of working independently in the familiar environment of a smaller hospital
- You are a team player with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
- You enjoy supporting assistant doctors
- You demonstrate a high willingness to innovate and commitment to the further development of the internal medicine department
