Role:
In this role, you will immerse yourself in a diverse IT environment and be the first point of contact for all matters concerning the ICT infrastructure. You will provide support for workstations, ensure the smooth operation of systems, and thus directly contribute to the stability of the IT landscape. As a Microsoft enthusiast, you competently support users with questions about cloud and on-premise services and find efficient solutions to their concerns. You will develop technically in the field of ICT support and expand your know-how through direct contact with a wide range of user groups. In doing so, you combine service orientation with enjoyment of modern technology and practical problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- You install, configure, and maintain workstation and school systems for users as well as their computers and iPads.
- In this role, you analyse and handle IT faults in 1st and 2nd level support until resolution.
- You maintain the ticketing system and ensure the correct currency of CMDB data.
- As an IT service desk staff member, you support system engineers in the maintenance and operation of network components and servers.
- You participate in IT rollouts and accompany the implementation of new solutions.
- In this role, you support users on-site as well as remotely with technical queries.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable professional experience in IT support
- Confident handling of Microsoft Windows (from version 10) as well as the Microsoft 365 environment
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and to Germany as well as a category B driving licence
- Strong customer and service orientation combined with an independent and reliable working style
- Knowledge of technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange Online, Hyper-V, Veeam, ESET, Endpoint Central, PaperCut, Watchguard, Cambium Networks or Innovaphone is advantageous
