Finnova Application Manager (m/f/d)
Role:
You are the person who brings business units and IT together. In this role as Application Manager Core Banking, you are responsible for business-critical applications in the financial environment, from the core banking system to customised in-house developments. You translate requirements into functioning solutions and actively drive automation forward. In this way, you actively shape digital development and see directly the difference your work makes.
Responsibilities:
Together with the business units, you assess business requirements and decide what is implemented first.
You ensure the stable operation of your applications, continuously monitor them and technically adjust their configuration.
In case of incidents and change requests, you are the first point of contact in 1st and 2nd level support.
Additionally, you communicate with end users, managers and external partners such as fintechs, precisely capturing their needs.
You thoroughly test new functions, drive optimisation and automation initiatives and participate in projects.
Furthermore, you train internal users and familiarise them with the applications.
Qualifications:
After completing a commercial apprenticeship in the financial sector, you have furthered your education in business informatics, business administration, finance or a similar field.
You have several years of practical experience in supporting and further developing business applications.
Ideally, you are familiar with business analysis and bring banking knowledge or experience with a core banking system.
You quickly grasp complex issues, think conceptually and implement solutions thoughtfully and systematically.
Moreover, you work independently and carefully, place great value on quality and enjoy being part of a team.
You are also appreciated as a reliable and pragmatic personality with IT flair, who expresses themselves confidently in both spoken and written German and English.
