Responsibilities:
You operate, maintain, and are responsible for the lifecycle management of server hardware from procurement to decommissioning
In this role, you install, configure, and operate application servers in Windows and Linux environments
You take responsibility as the contact person for the server infrastructure of logistics systems and the interface to specialist departments, application managers, and external suppliers
You automate operational, deployment, and maintenance processes with PowerShell and Bash
In this role, you participate in projects such as migrations, patch and update management, system hardening, and platform development
You analyse and resolve faults in 3rd level support and ensure stable operation of business-critical systems
Qualifications:
You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ platform development or an equivalent qualification, ideally with further education at HF or FH level
You have several years of professional experience as a system engineer in the Windows environment, ideally complemented by Linux knowledge
You possess sound knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, especially in Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, Ansible, and Docker
You routinely automate recurring tasks with PowerShell and Bash
You are familiar with server hardware, virtualisation with VMware or Hyper-V, as well as storage and backup concepts
