Tasks

• You are responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and adjusting the nursing process as well as delegating tasks to employees of other competency levels.
• You shape everyday life in a family-like setting together with the residents, where cooking and household chores together are just as much a part as organising leisure activities.
• You actively and enthusiastically contribute to the further development of the nursing services in your residential group by bringing in your ideas and helping to shape the broad scope for action.
• You advise and support residents and relatives during illness and crises.
• You take on daily responsibility in the department and support both trainees and students from various health and social care training programmes in developing their skills.

Profile

• Empathetic personality with a strong focus on people
• Enthusiasm for independent work combined with team spirit and commitment
• Completed training as a nursing specialist (HF/FH/DNII) with SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written, as well as customer-oriented communication skills
• Strong sense of responsibility, ability to think holistically and high resilience

The annual salary for this position ranges from CHF 85,228 to CHF 113,882 (100%) depending on experience.

The Health Centres for the Elderly of the City of Zurich are one of the largest geriatric institutions in Switzerland. We are the leading service provider in the elderly care sector – with expertise, heart and a comprehensive range of services from a single source.

The Health Centre for the Elderly Entlisberg in Wollishofen in District 2 combines various care and support services under one roof and is distinguished by many years of experience in geriatric medicine. The associated Lienihof Care Residential Group offers accommodation for eleven elderly people with gerontopsychiatric illnesses and partly somatic comorbidities. Attentive care and nursing, diverse therapy offerings and a homely atmosphere characterise the health centre.
