Role:

For an internationally active Swiss high-tech company in the Uster region, we are looking for an experienced and digitally savvy individual for finance and accounting. The traditional company develops highly precise measurement and quality systems for the international textile industry and combines technological innovation with open, respectful collaboration.

In this versatile role, you will be primarily responsible for the entire accounts payable process and ensure reliable processing of financial transactions. At the same time, you act as an important interface within the finance team and actively drive the optimisation and digitalisation of existing processes.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the complete accounts payable process for external suppliers and intra-group companies.

• Incoming invoices are checked, processed and accompanied until timely payment by you.

• You prepare VAT returns and check the tax compliance of relevant postings.

• Processing and control of employee expenses also fall within your area of responsibility.

• As a super user, you support the digital accounts payable workflow and the expense tool used.

• Accounts payable master data as well as various clearing and transit accounts are carefully maintained and reconciled by you.

• You deputise in accounts receivable accounting and support the team with other financial accounting tasks.

• You analyse existing financial processes and contribute to their digitalisation, automation and further development.

Qualifications:

• Completed commercial basic training, ideally supplemented by further training in finance and accounting

• Several years of professional experience in accounts payable or financial accounting

• Experience from an internationally active industrial or technology company is an advantage

• Confident handling of ERP systems; knowledge of IFS is particularly welcome

• Very good Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel

• Technical understanding and enthusiasm for digital workflow and expense solutions

• Good German and English skills for collaboration in an international environment

• Strong process understanding and a high quality awareness
