Senior Consultant Neurology

As part of a succession arrangement at the Neurological Clinic of the Münsterlingen Cantonal Hospital, we are seeking senior neurological consultants who are eager and willing to contribute to neurology, preferably with an individual focus or specialisation. We are a neurological clinic integrated within internal medicine, covering the entire field of neurology. We are looking for a Senior Consultant Neurology at the Münsterlingen hospital campus immediately or by arrangement.

Senior Consultant Neurology

You will take on

• Our hospital is responsible for extended basic and specialised neurological care. As a senior consultant, you will independently care for outpatient neurological patients, as well as the neurological ward and the Stroke Unit.
• You will provide consultative services for inpatients across all clinics of the Münsterlingen Cantonal Hospital, including the emergency and intensive care units, the Psychiatric Services of Thurgau, and neighbouring hospitals.
• You will participate in the on-call service (standby duty) and work closely with senior doctors from other departments. This ensures patient-centred and varied work.

You bring with you

• You are a neurologist with experience and hold a certificate in electroneurography/-myography and/or cerebrovascular duplex sonography.
• You are socially competent and interested in a good working atmosphere within a collegially led neurological team and in collaboration with other specialties.
• You also enjoy your own continuing education and passing on your knowledge to staff and in student teaching, rounding off your profile.

All imaging procedures, especially cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI), are available on site. The neurological department holds SIWV training authorisation for neurology and neurophysiology (SWIF, FMH) categories C and E2. The FEES certificate can be obtained. The hospital is located directly on Lake Constance, 8 km from Kreuzlingen and Konstanz, has excellent public transport connections, and there is a company-owned daycare centre.
