Calculation Engineer - CAE (m/f/d)

Role:
As a Calculation Engineer, you play a key role in the development and optimisation of highly precise plastic components. By using state-of-the-art CAE methods, you analyse complex technical challenges and contribute significantly to increasing the efficiency, quality and functionality of our products. With your in-depth expertise in structural mechanical and rheological simulation, you support our customers in design, material selection and processing optimisation. Your analytical thinking and flair for innovative solutions make you a sought-after expert in our international network.
Responsibilities:
Technical consulting and support of our customers in the development and optimisation of plastic components made of high-performance polyamides
Preparation of feasibility studies and development of innovative component concepts using state-of-the-art CAE tools
Conducting precise simulations in the fields of structural mechanics and rheology to predict component behaviour
Communication and coordination of analysis results with customers and internal development departments on an international level
Further development and implementation of new CAE methods to increase efficiency and improve calculation tools
Use of state-of-the-art CAE software such as Moldflow, Ansys and Siemens NX as well as access to advanced measurement technology (e.g. computed tomography and 3D scanning) to validate simulation results
Participation in interdisciplinary projects in the fields of technology and project management to drive innovative solutions and process improvements
Qualifications:
Completed degree in plastics engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline
Several years of experience in CAE-supported development of plastic components as well as in-depth knowledge of injection moulding processing
Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset, combined with decisiveness and a goal-oriented working style
High initiative, willingness to learn and flexibility to continuously adapt to new technical challenges
Very good English skills in spoken and written form for successful collaboration with international teams
