SSR's real estate assets form the essential foundation for the production of radio, TV and digital offerings on a national scale. As workplaces and places of exchange, they also contribute to the quality of collaboration, employee satisfaction and SSR's corporate culture.
In the coming years, these sites will undergo a profound transformation as part of the company’s evolution programme Enavant. Spaces will be optimised, production sites modernised and new usage concepts developed. Financial management and profitability are essential elements in this regard.
SSR Real Estate Manager (possible co-management)
Your mission
To successfully carry out this ambitious transformation mission, we are looking for a personality with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and excellent leadership skills to take on the role of SSR Real Estate Manager.
In this key role, you lead all of SSR’s real estate activities at the national level. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and a member of the Finance management team, you play a key role in the transformation and development of the infrastructure of the largest Swiss audiovisual group. Together with your team of managers, you design and implement SSR’s real estate strategy. In doing so, you help ensure the long-term fulfilment of its public service mission by creating efficient, sustainable sites adapted to the future needs of media production. Convinced that real estate goes far beyond buildings and infrastructure, you make it a lever for collaboration, the attractiveness of work environments and corporate culture. Your goal is to optimise the use of space and resources while preparing SSR’s production and media sites for tomorrow’s challenges.
Your main challenges include:
- Leading and developing a national real estate organisation of more than 100 employees
- Enhancing and developing a strategically important real estate portfolio for SSR’s future
- Driving the transformation of sites by balancing operational efficiency, sustainability and cost control
- Shaping the future of key locations, including Geneva/Ecublens, Comano and Zurich-Leutschenbach
- Managing major investment, construction and transformation projects
- Developing trusting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Advocating real estate issues with governing bodies and governance organs
Your profile
- A university degree complemented by a specialisation in real estate or an equivalent qualification
- Proven leadership experience in a complex, multi-site environment
- Recognised expertise in managing large construction, development or transformation projects
- A strong ability to define a strategic vision, act with an entrepreneurial spirit and unite stakeholders with diverse interests
- Proven ease in interacting with governance bodies, authorities and institutional actors
- Fluency in German as well as good knowledge of at least one other national language
