thurmed Immobilien AG (TIAG) is the owner, developer, and operator of the extensive building portfolio of the thurmed Group, which includes, among others, the cantonal hospitals Frauenfeld and Münsterlingen, the St. Katharinental Clinic, and the Psychiatric Services of Thurgau. In this role, it develops sites and manages healthcare properties throughout their entire lifecycle – from strategy, through planning and realisation, to daily operations. The focus is on functional, flexible, and sustainable infrastructures that optimally support the core medical processes.

With its experience and expertise, TIAG also supports selected third-party clients in the "Third Market" business area with their healthcare property portfolios throughout the entire real estate lifecycle – strategically, analytically, and consistently focused on operations. The "Third Market" service portfolio spans from organisational development and property valuation to real estate strategy and site development, as well as concrete planning and construction tasks.

Project Manager Third Market

For our team in the Third Market business area, we are seeking an experienced, committed, and solution-oriented individual to start immediately or by arrangement.


Your responsibilities include

• You will be part of TIAG and, in the role of client representative or consultant, simultaneously support external healthcare providers within the scope of external mandates
• These mandates primarily cover the early SIA phases 1 and 2 as well as the planning phases. This includes real estate strategies, site developments, as well as concrete project developments and quality assurance reviews (QA) of ongoing plans and projects from the perspective of use and operations
• You analyse the client’s questions and tasks and derive solution strategies and a structured approach concept
• You assist with project organisation and initiation. You ensure that the necessary stakeholders are involved and form the project-specific planner and expert teams
• For concrete project developments and planning tasks, you support the client with comprehensive "client competence" and advise on the choice of the appropriate realisation and execution model
• You coordinate, lead, and manage the mandate-specific project teams and ensure careful and timely completion
• Additionally, there is the possibility to work within TIAG’s own building portfolio

Your profile

• You have a passion for complex operational properties and look forward to being part of the dynamic TIAG and contributing to the new "Third Market" business area
• You are eager to broaden your experience through in-depth insights into TIAG’s activities as well as other healthcare organisations through external mandates
• You enjoy complex tasks and working with various stakeholders
• You have completed training as a certified architect ETH/FH or equivalent, ideally with further education in real estate economics (e.g. MAS Real Estate Management)
• You have several years of professional experience in planning and executing complex operational properties, preferably in Switzerland, and are proficient in project management
• You are familiar with procurement law, possible realisation models, and contract law, and confidently navigate construction-specific standards and legislation
• You are a strategically and entrepreneurially minded team player for whom good communication culture is a matter of course
