Planning, implementation and further development of cyber security for OT and ICS environments
Analysis and assessment of security risks in production facilities and industrial networks
Development and implementation of security architectures for OT networks and industrial systems
Segmentation and securing of OT networks, for example through firewalls, zone/conduit concepts and secure remote access
Conducting risk assessments, security assessments and threat analyses
Monitoring and analysing security events and supporting incident response in the OT environment
Development and maintenance of technical security concepts, standards and guidelines
Planning and implementation of measures for vulnerability management and patch management taking into account the requirements of industrial production environments
Accompanying projects and facilities throughout the entire lifecycle - from planning and commissioning to operation and decommissioning
Assessment and securing of OT components, such as PLCs, SCADA systems, DCS, HMIs, historian systems and industrial network components
Conducting or accompanying security audits and technical assessments
Collaboration with IT cyber security, OT engineering, automation, infrastructure and external partners
Support in implementing relevant standards and regulatory requirements, such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework or industry-specific guidelines
Building and further developing security monitoring and detection for OT environments
Raising awareness and advising engineering and operations teams regarding OT cyber security
Qualifications:
Completed degree or comparable training in cyber security, computer science, electrical engineering, automation, information technology or a related field
Several years of experience in cyber security, ideally with a focus on OT/ICS
Good knowledge of industrial networks and protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, Modbus, OPC UA, Profinet, EtherNet/IP or comparable technologies
Experience with OT/ICS systems such as SCADA, PLC, DCS and HMI
Knowledge in network segmentation, firewalls, identity & access management and secure remote access
Experience with vulnerability management, security monitoring and incident response
Understanding of the special requirements of OT environments regarding availability, safety, real-time capability and change management
Knowledge of relevant security standards, especially IEC 62443; knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST is an advantage
Analytical and structured working style as well as strong security awareness
Ability to communicate technical security topics clearly to engineering, management and operations
Very good German and English skills
