Accounting Specialist with Advanced Federal Diploma (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, as Accounting Manager, you take responsibility for the financial accounting in an environment focused on innovative screw and engineering solutions. You ensure that all accounting processes run precisely and reliably, laying the foundation for well-informed decisions regarding safety-critical applications. With your senior profile, you bring experience to structure and further develop financial processes. Through your expertise, you contribute to the financial transparency of complex technologies and projects. You use your analytical thinking to interpret figures and identify optimisation potentials in accounting.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the financial accounting of the Swiss company
- In this role, you manage the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting
- As Accounting Manager, you independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- You prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with legal requirements and group policies
- In this role, you are the contact person for external auditors, authorities, and the group finance department
- As Accounting Manager, you support local management with reliable financial data and analyses as well as in optimising processes and internal controls
Qualifications:
- You have completed commercial training with further education in finance and accounting
- You have several years of experience in managing Swiss financial accounting with balance sheet responsibility
- Ideally, you have experience with financial statements according to IFRS, US GAAP, or Swiss GAAP FER
- You are well versed in Swiss VAT
- You have excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- You communicate very well in German and English, both spoken and written
