Specialist in Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you bear financial responsibility for a demanding environment in plant engineering and ensure that all figures are always accurate and meaningful. You oversee the financial and accounting processes, prepare financial statements, and ensure transparent reporting. You analyse complex issues, derive recommendations for action, and thus support well-founded decisions. With your professional expertise in finance and accounting, you ensure the quality of financial management and create clear added value for internal stakeholders. As an experienced specialist, you act confidently in dealing with demanding issues and contribute significantly to stable structures in the finance area.
Responsibilities:
- You independently manage the finance, accounts payable and receivable accounting including payment transactions, dunning, and VAT accounting
- In this role, you support the annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations, prepare monthly closings, and contribute to group reporting
- As a finance and accounting specialist, you participate in budgeting, post-calculations, and cash management
- You assist with payroll accounting as well as with social insurance, withholding tax, daily allowances, and year-end payroll settlements
- In this role, you actively shape the expansion of cost accounting and the definition of KPIs
- As a finance and accounting specialist, you optimise financial and payroll processes together with the CFO
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education with further training as a finance and accounting specialist or fiduciary
- You have several years of professional experience in finance, accounts payable and receivable accounting as well as knowledge in payroll accounting and administration
- You have very good German language skills in speaking and writing and good English skills
- You are proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- You work independently and precisely and have a strong affinity for numbers
- You are a team-oriented, discreet, and reliable personality with a hands-on mentality
