ICT Communication & Voice Administrator (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you ensure that the voice and network infrastructure remains stable, secure, and efficient. You administer and monitor complex systems, contribute to the further development of existing solutions, and thus ensure smooth operation for a large number of users. You work with modern technologies in data centres and hybrid cloud environments and apply your expertise to professional ICT services. You take responsibility for a reliable communication and network environment and thereby make a significant contribution to the organisation's digital performance.
Responsibilities:
You operate and further develop our voice and unified communications environment and ensure reliable operation.
You handle demanding 2nd-level tickets, analyse faults, and coordinate further processing with 3rd level if necessary.
You administer Microsoft Teams Phone, AudioCodes SBCs, and other communication platforms.
You participate in network, migration, and integration projects and support maintenance and technical changes.
You monitor communication systems, document solutions, and contribute ideas to improve quality, security, and availability.
Qualifications:
You have a technical education as an IT specialist, telematics technician, electrician, media technician, or a comparable qualification.
You bring experience with voice, telephony, UC, or network solutions and their troubleshooting.
You are familiar with Microsoft Teams Phone and ideally AudioCodes SBCs; knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, or similar platforms is welcome.
You are interested in modern communication and network technologies and enjoy familiarising yourself with new solutions.
You work independently, reliably, and service-oriented, communicate very well in German and well in English, and are prepared for on-call duties.
