Network Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN® partner is the contact for large-scale telecommunications services. The customer is always the focus, as is the service offered. It is of utmost importance to our partner to optimally meet the needs of the customers.
Responsibilities:
Implementation, monitoring and optimisation of security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs and DDoS protection
Design and implementation of security architectures as well as proactive analysis and resolution of security incidents
Operation and optimisation of IP networks and access platforms (FTTH, HFC)
Consulting internal teams on IT security issues and support in 2nd-level support
Creation of security documentation and conducting training sessions
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science, IT security or comparable IT education
Several years of experience as a network engineer, ideally in the provider and IT security environment
Solid knowledge of MPLS, BGP, OSPF and other network technologies
Analytical, solution-oriented and strong communication skills
Very good German skills as well as good English skills; willingness to work on-call and night shifts
