Operating Room Technician

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic operating room technician to join our team within a large hospital institution. If you are ready to take on challenging tasks and work in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is for you.

Your responsibilities:

Safety and traceability: Perform strict and systematic counting of equipment (instruments, needles, swabs) before surgical closure, and ensure rigorous management of biological samples.

Assistance: Welcome the patient, then assist the surgeon promptly by anticipating their instrument needs.

Safety: Guarantee absolute asepsis throughout the procedure and ensure rigorous counting of equipment.

Finalisation: Manage samples, participate in patient transfer, and ensure the rapid restoration of the operating room.

• Recognised HES diploma in Switzerland or equivalent European qualification with Red Cross recognition.
• Swiss nationality or citizen of the European Union.
• At least one year of hospital experience acquired within the last three years.
• Significant experience in service.
• Ability to work in a team and manage stressful situations.
• Organisational skills, rigour and autonomy.
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
