Apprenticeship Health Specialist EFZ Long-term Care

BSB trains numerous apprentices and students every year. From 1 August 2027, we offer you an exciting apprenticeship as a Health Specialist EFZ in Long-term Care. You will learn a profession that combines expertise with humanity. You will make a valuable contribution to the well-being and quality of life of older people and gradually take on responsibility.

During your three-year apprenticeship as a Health Specialist EFZ in Long-term Care, you will work in one of the five care centres of BSB. You will support older people in their daily lives and gradually learn to take on nursing, care and organisational tasks. These include, for example, changing dressings, taking blood samples and administering medication. Administrative tasks are also part of your varied training routine.

• Completed compulsory schooling at level E or higher
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Enjoyment of theoretical and practical learning
• Resilience as well as an open and respectful attitude
• Enjoy working with people and collaborating in a team
• Respectful interaction with older people
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays
