In this versatile key role, you operate in the tension between cantonal regulations, the needs of schools and cantonal school development, thus contributing to the advancement and implementation of compulsory education in the canton of Lucerne.
Your tasks
- You actively shape Cycle 2 of compulsory education and the day care structures in the canton of Lucerne, ensuring they remain future-proof and of high quality.
- You are responsible for teaching material management and take on strategic teaching material planning.
- You handle incoming enquiries operationally and provide professional advice to school management.
- You drive innovative concepts for the 2nd cycle and day care structures and actively support schools through change processes.
- You establish sustainable connections with key stakeholders such as school management, the PH Lucerne and other networks and working groups, and advise school management, authorities, teachers and parents.
Your profile
- You have a basic pedagogical education and a university degree or a comparable qualification in educational sciences and have already gained several years of professional experience, preferably as a school principal in compulsory education.
- You have built and consolidated your know-how in the 2nd cycle (3rd - 6th primary level) and in day care structures through your professional activity.
- You communicate confidently across different levels, handle conflicts with composure and have experience in organisational and school development.
- You grasp complex issues easily thanks to your analytical and networked thinking and have the ability to develop practical solutions.
- You have a strong interest and affinity for educational policy topics in compulsory education and enjoy actively contributing to teamwork.
