The Balgrist University Hospital is one of the most renowned orthopaedic clinics in Switzerland, with an affiliated Paraplegia Centre and international recognition.
Our "Balgrist Café" is a popular meeting point at Balgrist - it is located opposite the reception. The café offers 65 seats and 36 standing places - in summer, our guests enjoy the terrace overlooking the adjacent park. The kiosk offers a wide range of snacks, drinks, newspapers and magazines as well as a small selection of gift items.

We are looking for a
Service Staff (m/f/d) 80 %
from 1 October 2026.Your tasks
- À la carte service in the Balgrist Café as well as customer service at the kiosk
- Preparation, presentation and sale of the entire Café Balgrist range
- Cash register operation and correct daily accounting
- Attractive and clean product presentation
- Assistance with internal and external events & receptions
- Assistance in the staff restaurant - compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP) and cleaning duties
- Internal ordering system as well as delivery note control of external deliveries
Your profile
- A successfully completed training in hotel or catering industry
- Experience in a similar position in the hospitality sector
- Enjoyment and respectful interaction with people
- High customer orientation as well as service readiness and flexibility
- Strong team and communication skills
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form are essential, foreign language skills are desirable (English, Italian, French)
