Heating Plant Operator (m/f/d)

For our client, a leading and traditional Swiss industrial company in the Basel area, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a technically skilled and committed individual as a Heating Plant Operator.

Your Main Tasks

• Ensuring operational safety: Guaranteeing the trouble-free and efficient operation of the steam boiler and compressed air systems.

• Process & water analysis: Conducting periodic checks, monitoring and analysing boiler feed water as well as sampling and checking auxiliary materials.

• Maintenance & troubleshooting: Independently analysing and resolving technical faults as well as actively participating in overhaul and maintenance work.

• Quality & safety standards: Preparing technical reports and consistently adhering to applicable safety and quality guidelines.

• Plant inspection: Coordinating and checking oil drains as well as carrying out regular tank inspections.

• Flexible support: Cross-departmental deployments within the thermal production and evaporation plants.

• Basic training: Completed technical vocational training (e.g. as a mechanic, locksmith, heating installer or electrical installer).

• Specialist training: Successful completion of a heating plant operator course is a prerequisite.

• Professional experience: Solid practical experience in the operation of industrial supply systems or in a comparable role in boiler house operations.

• Working method: Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach with a strong hands-on mentality.

• Safety awareness: High quality and safety consciousness as well as pronounced reliability.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and to troubleshoot outside regular working hours.

• Languages: Very good German skills, both spoken and written.
