Purchasing Specialist, Operational & Strategic (m/f/d)

Role:
The position is newly created as part of the further development of strategic purchasing. The aim is to manage product groups more precisely in the future, further develop supplier relationships, and standardise and optimise procurement processes more strongly.
Responsibilities:
You take strategic responsibility for defined product groups and develop appropriate procurement and supplier strategies
You monitor relevant procurement markets, evaluate new sources of supply, and derive concrete sourcing measures
You independently conduct price, terms, and contract negotiations and ensure economically attractive purchasing solutions
You identify savings potentials and consistently implement them together with internal specialist departments
You further develop existing supplier relationships and contribute to building a professional supplier management
You analyse existing purchasing processes and drive their digitalisation and standardisation forward
You ensure efficient and as seamless as possible processes from procurement to invoicing
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial or technical basic education with further training as a purchasing specialist with a federal diploma or a comparable qualification
You bring several years of experience in strategic purchasing and are proficient in supplier management as well as in preparing and conducting demanding contract and price negotiations
You have strong analytical skills and can confidently balance economic, qualitative, and operational requirements
You present yourself confidently and reliably to internal stakeholders and external suppliers
You work in a structured, independent, and goal-oriented manner while also having a good sense for practical solutions
