What you achieve

• You independently handle complex legal issues from the specialist areas of the Claims Centre Romandie (motor vehicle, property, liability, and personal injury claims), with a focus on liability and insurance law
• You manage and conduct French-speaking litigation cases from their inception
• You support the specialist departments in recourse cases
• You design and conduct internal training sessions
• You work closely with the claims and specialist departments in the western and also German-speaking parts of Switzerland
• Your workplace is intended to be Givisiez, but Basel is also possible

What you bring

• You have a completed Swiss law degree and a Swiss lawyer’s licence
• You bring several years of practical professional experience, preferably in the insurance environment and/or in legal practice
• You have sound knowledge of liability and insurance law
• You convince through negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented working style
• You are characterised by a high willingness to learn and commitment
• You have business fluent French skills in speaking and writing (mandatory) to support the western Swiss locations and communicate at a very good level in German (communication language in the associated team)
• You are willing to travel to some extent (for negotiations throughout western Switzerland as well as participation in team meetings in Basel)
