Role:
In this role, you actively shape a highly secure and modern IT architecture while being close to the technical implementation. You bridge the gap between strategic architecture, stable system landscape, and contemporary cyber security. You evaluate forward-looking technologies and drive the gradual modernisation of the architecture to increase efficiency in development and operations. You are also responsible for the continuous optimisation of the system landscape and bring your expertise specifically into planning and implementation. You work on equal footing with system engineers, administration, and a system provider.
Responsibilities:
- You design and optimise our IT architecture, evaluate new technologies, and drive the further development of the infrastructure.
- In this role, you maintain IT security at a high level, secure data flows, and design modern identity and access concepts.
- You implement new architecture and security structures hands-on and integrate them into the existing system landscape.
- In this role, you work closely with system engineers, administrators, and our system provider and manage the joint collaboration.
- You design and optimise high-performance data architectures for complex databases and data-intensive workloads.
- As part of IT architecture and security planning, you constructively question existing structures and improve them through modern testing and stress procedures.
Qualifications:
- You work passionately close to modern IT infrastructures and feel at home in operational system landscapes.
- Solid expertise in IT security as well as in the conception and management of identity providers (ideally with Keycloak and MS Entra) distinguishes you.
- You are well versed in databases and data flows and ideally have experience with Apache Spark and Apache NiFi.
- You are familiar with the structured storage and integration of system structures in software repositories such as Git.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration is part of your profile.
- You have a strong interest in trends such as artificial intelligence and can specifically assess their added value for the infrastructure.
