About the job
For our Part-Time Reception Unit (UATP) in Hauts-Geneveys, we are looking for a dynamic, committed, and proactive person who wishes to put their educational skills at the service of the people supported and actively contribute to the team’s reflections and projects.
Context
At the UATP, you support adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Each day requires combining close support, educational activities, and adaptation to individual needs.
You are present in daily life moments while bringing your educational perspective to the situations encountered. You help build appropriate responses, develop individual projects, and support a positive collective dynamic.
Certain situations require adjusting interventions, taking a step back, and seeking solutions as a team. You can rely on a structured framework and interdisciplinary collaboration to support this approach.
The position involves split shifts during the week as well as one weekend of work per month, according to the current organisation of the unit.
Your mission
- Provide individualised socio-educational support, taking into account the needs, resources, and aspirations of the people.
- Contribute to the development, monitoring, and evaluation of Individual Intervention Plans (IIP), in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Reflect critically on support practices and actively participate in designing and implementing projects aimed at evolving the services and dynamics of the UATP.
- Design and lead educational activities promoting self-determination, autonomy, and social participation.
- Participate in daily living activities and basic care, with an educational approach respectful of each person’s pace.
- Analyse educational situations, adapt support strategies, and propose avenues for improvement.
- Collaborate with families, relatives, and network partners to promote coherence in support.
- Actively contribute to team reflections, sharing practices, and developing unit projects.
Your profile
- Diploma as a Social Educator ES.
- Driving licence required.
- Dynamic, positive, and committed personality, appreciating collective reflection and fieldwork.
- Ability to analyse, take a step back, and adapt to complex educational situations.
- Initiative, creativity, and willingness to evolve support practices.
- Aptitude for interdisciplinary teamwork and constructive communication.
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and rigour in following up individual projects.
- Availability to work split shifts and weekends as required by the service.
- Experience supporting people with ASD is an asset.
What we offer
- A stimulating work environment where educational reflection and initiatives have their place.
- An interdisciplinary team fostering collaboration, skills sharing, and continuous improvement of practices.
- The opportunity to contribute concretely to educational projects and their development.
- A structured work framework and opportunities for continuous training and professional development.
- Working conditions according to the CCT-ES.
