Data Engineer (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client based in Mont-sur-Lausanne, we are looking for a Data Engineer (m/f/d) responsible for designing, industrialising, and maintaining data flows as well as deploying statistical models within applications.
Your mission
- Gather business team requirements and define technical specifications related to data collection, storage, and availability.
- Develop, test, and maintain data routing and storage solutions, notably through APIs, automated processes, and batch flows.
- Industrialise data cleaning, transformation, and integration, then administer and document internal and external databases.
- Deploy statistical and machine learning models, monitor their validity, performance, and maintenance.
- Follow development projects using agile methods, provide production support, and report progress to the project manager.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent training, complemented by proven experience in data engineering and processing.
- Proficiency in Python, especially the Pandas library, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Data Warehouse architectures, Business Intelligence models, reporting, and ETL or ELT tools.
- Proficiency with an orchestration or workflow management tool such as Airflow or Kafka, as well as Unix and Windows environments.
- Good knowledge of agile development methods, data lifecycle, personal data regulations, and cybersecurity principles.
