As a family-run company, we look beyond short-term goals and work to create a future-oriented vision for our employees, our customers, and the world at large.
We are looking for a Team Lead Device Software Test to complement our team and actively shape the professional and strategic development of our software testing area. In this role, you will make a decisive contribution to the quality and reliability of our products and create the conditions for the sustainable development of our test platforms and test processes. As part of our development organisation, you will work in an innovation-oriented environment where technical excellence and collaboration go hand in hand.
What is the role about?
Would you like to lead a committed team and actively promote its development? Are you passionate about sustainably improving software quality through modern testing strategies? Are you excited to combine technical challenges with strategic responsibility?
In this key role, you will shape the future of our device software tests together with development, quality, and product teams. You will take responsibility for the professional direction of the team, drive the further development of the test platform, and ensure that our high quality standards continue to be met.
What tasks will you undertake?
You will
- lead the Device Software Test team professionally and personally, provide guidance, and promote the development of employees through regular feedback and individual development goals.
- establish clear responsibilities and reliable working methods, remove obstacles, and represent the team’s interests to relevant stakeholders.
- define the strategic and professional direction of the team and derive goals, priorities, and development initiatives from it.
- develop the test strategy and manage test activities in line with product and quality objectives.
- ensure test and process quality through standards, reviews, and best practices, and promote reliable and maintainable long-term test solutions.
- further develop the test platform technically and conceptually and drive the scaling and automation of the test landscape.
What do we expect from you?
You
- have a university degree (Uni/ETH/FH) in electrical engineering, technical computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field.
- bring experience in personnel or lateral leadership and lead clearly, appreciatively, and development-oriented.
- have several years of experience in object-oriented software development with C# or C++ and enjoy working on technical topics yourself.
- possess a strong quality awareness and understand the requirements for reliable and maintainable long-term test solutions.
- apply agile methods appropriately and evaluate new technologies in terms of benefits, effort, and risks.
- work reliably and solution-oriented, bring together different perspectives, and communicate confidently in German and English.
What can you expect from us?
- We are a family-run company with great commitment and a sustainable vision.
- We promote lifelong learning through diverse training and development opportunities, internal knowledge transfer, and e-learning.
- We offer you a responsible leadership role with high visibility and scope for design in an innovative technology environment.
- We value a balanced work-life balance and offer flexible working models that are oriented towards the requirements of modern working environments.
- We work in a collegial and appreciative environment where collaboration, trust, and mutual support are lived.
- We enable you to develop technologies together with committed teams that contribute to the success of our customers worldwide.
