About the job

For an established institution in the field of long-term care, we are seeking an experienced leader for the management of the Care and Support department.

In this responsible position, you will take on both the operational management as well as the professional and strategic development of the department. Together with your team, you ensure professional, high-quality, and needs-oriented care for the residents.

Your Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the organisation, management, and development of the Care and Support department
Leadership, guidance, and coaching of employees as well as support in challenging care situations
Ensuring and further developing care quality, processes, and professional standards
Responsibility for staff deployment planning and needs-based management of the skill and grade mix
Monitoring care processes, performance recording, and care documentation
Contact person for residents, relatives, employees, doctors, and external partners
Participation in budget planning and cost control
Responsibility for workforce planning and efficient use of personnel resources
Active participation in projects to further develop the institution

Our Requirements

Diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH
Further training in leadership or department management
Several years of leadership experience in the care sector
Sound knowledge in long-term care, ideally with experience in caring for people with dementia
Good knowledge in pharmacology and care processes
Experience with RAI-NH or comparable classification and assessment instruments
Experience in quality management, process design, and handling common IT systems
Strong leadership and communication skills
Decisiveness and ability to take responsibility and delegate tasks purposefully
Entrepreneurial and business-minded thinking
High resilience, assertiveness, and pronounced conflict management skills
Appreciative and team-oriented leadership personality
