Export Clerk (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Processing customer orders and preparing required export documents
- Preparation and certification of certificates of origin and other documents
- Handling enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Considering an optimised price-performance ratio in enquiries
- Setting up new customers in the system and maintaining special conditions
- Responsibility for the administrative handling of export shipments
- Ensuring timely delivery of shipments to various countries
- Independently obtaining transport quotes
- Handling customer enquiries, correspondence and complaints
- Regular exchange with the Sales Manager Export Markets
- Preparation of reports
- Timely and service-oriented handling of customer concerns by phone or email
- Supporting the customs expert with origin calculations, supplier declarations and customs-related clarifications
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education and have gained professional experience in export and customer service
- A completed further education as a foreign trade specialist is not mandatory but advantageous
- Goods movements within the EU (intra-community deliveries, triangular transactions, etc.) are familiar to you
- You are proficient in MS Office programmes and have already gained initial SAP experience
- You have knowledge of free trade agreements and their updates
- Your good German and English skills can be profitably applied in cooperation with our international business customers
- You approach your tasks in a customer-oriented manner and handle them reliably and accurately
- With your flexible, team-oriented and cheerful personality, you make a valuable contribution to a positive team spirit
