Senior Physician Angiology (m/f/d)

In this role, you will be engaged in an independent vascular centre where angiology, vascular surgery, and interventional radiology work closely together. You will offer patients the full range of modern diagnostics and therapies in vascular medicine, contributing to a varied and professionally demanding angiology. You will apply all relevant endovascular procedures, with a focus on arterial revascularisations and embolisations in a state-of-the-art catheter laboratory. Additionally, you will be responsible for the minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins, thus shaping a contemporary, high-quality care provision.
Responsibilities:
- You supervise the assistant physicians of the vascular centre, promote their further education (training category B), and conduct an independent consultation hour
- In this role, you independently perform catheter interventions and/or phlebological procedures with appropriate prior knowledge or acquire these skills under supervision
- As Senior Physician Angiology, you work in a highly networked, interdisciplinary environment collaborating with foot orthopaedics, nephrology, neurology, internal medicine, and other disciplines
- You engage in joint diabetic foot and neurovascular clinics in close cooperation with the involved specialist disciplines
- In this role, you may establish your own consultation hour at an external location if interested
- As Senior Physician Angiology, you operate in a bilingual environment (German and French) and promote a good balance between work and private life
Qualifications:
- You hold the Swiss specialist title in angiology
- You are a strong team player with entrepreneurial thinking
- You are fluent in either German or French and have good knowledge of the other language
- You have several years of senior physician experience in angiology at a Swiss hospital
