Health Specialist with Focus on Night Shift

More than 2000 children are born each year at the University Clinic for Gynaecology. Our focus on the Mother and Child ward lies in the individual and holistic, respectful care of mother and child.

What to expect

• As a university hospital, we cover the entire spectrum of obstetrics and feto-maternal medicine
• On our inpatient obstetrics ward, we care for healthy mothers with their newborns as well as women and families with obstetric or medical risks and complications
• This also includes pregnant women with complex care needs as well as mothers in the puerperium whose newborn is hospitalised in neonatology or who have lost their child
• The department has 47 inpatient beds. A leadership team with two department heads and three team leaders ensures a professionally sound, appreciative and team-oriented collaboration
• You can expect a varied field of work with a broad medical spectrum and the opportunity to contribute and further develop your expertise in a university environment

What you bring

• Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ in an acute hospital and preferably have several years of professional experience
• You are looking for a long-term position
• You are committed and resilient, have a sense of humour and enjoy interacting with people from different cultures
• In addition, you are open to changes that professional care entails
• You enjoy working night shifts and are willing to perform the majority of your duties during the night
