Pharmacist: Clinical Support

The Institute of Hospital Pharmacy ensures the pharmaceutical supply for the entire Insel Group 365 days a year, around the clock. We are the contact point for all specialist questions regarding medicines. We design and further develop the medication process with a future-oriented approach – with innovative solutions, efficient procedures, and a focus on medication safety. What to expect

• Answering clinical-pharmaceutical specialist questions from doctors and nursing staff ("Medicine Hotline")
• Ensuring and continuously optimising pharmaceutical services, especially the safe and efficient medication process
• Creating and updating medicine guidelines in collaboration with the clinics
• Participating in master data management of the SAP inventory management system and in the clinical medication master data for the pioneering clinical and control system EPIC
• Ensuring professional, quality-assured medicine procurement, for example replacement products during supply interruptions, medicines under Compassionate Use, up to ATMPs

What you bring

• Completed pharmacy degree, ideally with professional experience in hospital pharmacy
• Additional qualifications such as FPH Hospital Pharmacy, FPH Clinical Pharmacy, CAS Clinical Pharmacy or comparable further training advantageous
• Analytical thinking combined with a structured, precise and independent working style
• Process-oriented, innovative and flexible approach in daily work
