Function

Tasks

• Independent execution of the monthly payroll processing for approx. 2,300 employees paid hourly and monthly
• Maintenance and updating of personnel and payroll data in Abacus
• Handling social insurance cases as well as processing EO, family allowances and other statutory benefits
• Responsibility for correct withholding tax accounting and electronic payroll notifications
• Contact person for employees and managers regarding payroll and social insurance questions
• Reconciliation of payroll-relevant accounts with financial accounting and support with monthly and annual financial statements
• Communication with authorities, insurance companies and other external parties
• Checking and correcting working time and payroll data
• Flexible working hours with the possibility to work one day per week from home

Requirements

• Commercial or equivalent basic training
• At least 5 years of experience in payroll / payroll accounting
• Further training in payroll or social insurance mandatory
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and experience with Abacus
• Precise, reliable and independent working style with a strong affinity for numbers
• Enjoyment in optimising and digitalising payroll processes
• Team-oriented personality with a strong service mentality
