What to expect

• Management and successful implementation of IT projects on time and within budget
• Ensuring a stable, secure and economical operation of data centres, network and application landscape
• Coordination of IT projects: planning, coordination, task distribution, budget, control and correction
• Active technical implementation of global IT projects as an experienced IT Engineer
• Analysis and resolution of complex IT, application, infrastructure and network issues in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Support of selected specialised applications and global IT services
• Management and monitoring of external IT service providers and vendors
• Participation in IT on-call duty and handling of critical faults outside regular working hours

What you bring

• Completed training or degree in computer science, systems engineering or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer or in a comparable role
• Experience in the professional coordination of employees and external service providers
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft server environments as well as experience with Citrix, VMware, Veeam or comparable solutions
• Network understanding and practical knowledge in routing, VLAN, LAN, WAN and firewalls
• Experience in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Experience with IT security in server and network environments
• Experience in a global or industrial environment is an advantage
• Good to very good German language skills
• Good to very good English language skills
