HVAC Maintenance Technician

Fed Engineering is a recruitment agency specialising in engineering professions in Switzerland.

Our client, a company active in the fields of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), is looking for a 100% HVAC Maintenance Technician.

- Take charge of troubleshooting and routine maintenance of the installation fleet according to intervention schedules
- Contribute to the commissioning of new HVAC equipment
- Work on renovation or refurbishment sites (replacement of devices, repair of pumps, valves, water softeners and other components)
- Perform maintenance of energy production systems such as heat pumps, wood or pellet boilers, and refrigeration installations
- Ensure the smooth running of regular maintenance as stipulated by client contracts
- Participate in the on-call rota
- Represent the company’s image during interventions at clients’ premises, with professionalism and good interpersonal skills

- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in heating, refrigeration or HVAC maintenance (or equivalent recognised training)
- Solid experience gained in a similar role
- Mastery of HVAC hydraulic systems and controls; an interest in refrigeration is appreciated
- Certification for handling refrigerant fluids is a plus
- Rigorous, autonomous and organised profile, with a strong sense of responsibility
- Enjoys teamwork, strong client orientation and pragmatic approach to technical problems
