Purchasing Employee (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Responsibility for the procurement of indirect materials and services as well as further development of the corresponding purchasing strategies
• Conducting tenders and selecting suitable suppliers considering quality, costs and performance
• Negotiation of prices, contracts and conditions with a focus on sustainable optimisation of total costs
• Monitoring procurement markets and analysing suppliers, trends and saving potentials
• Ensuring contract fulfilment as well as maintaining and further developing supplier relationships
• Participation in projects for digitalisation and optimisation of purchasing processes
• Processing orders, maintaining master data in SAP as well as monitoring delivery dates and order confirmations
• Coordination in case of delivery deviations, inventory control and verification of supplier invoices

Profile

• Commercial or technical training or degree with further education in purchasing
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, category management or indirect procurement
• Confident negotiation skills and a strong understanding of costs, economic efficiency and TCO
• Good knowledge of SAP MM as well as experience with e-procurement and process optimisation
• Analytical thinking, good numerical understanding and a structured way of working
• Independent, solution-oriented and assertive personality with a hands-on mentality
• Experience in project management as well as strong communication skills
• Very good German and good English skills
