What awaits you.
Join an open-minded, committed and action-oriented team. You will have the opportunity to develop yourself while contributing to the daily railway operation at the heart of the western region. Together, you will imagine and implement innovative solutions to meet the network's challenges. In return, we offer a stimulating working environment and many attractive benefits.
What you can influence.
- Lead a team of about 28 people: support them in their professional and technical development and in managing the succession of the SBB infrastructure.
- Adopt motivating and professional leadership: you establish a climate of trust and promote collective performance.
- Effectively manage the maintenance of the railway track and sub-projects while respecting SBB's safety, economic and quality requirements.
- Ensure the availability of the human and material resources necessary for construction, maintenance and incident resolution on our railway infrastructures.
- Monitor and analyse financial and operational indicators and be responsible for your team’s performance.
- Identify and lead optimisations: you propose improvements, implement them and mobilise your team around new ideas.
What you bring.
- You are comfortable with people from diverse cultures and contribute to an inclusive environment.
- You have a comprehensive view of the company and strong interpersonal and technical skills: you know how to inspire, coach and guide your team towards set objectives.
- You promote transparency daily: you communicate with confidence and presence.
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma or have proven experience in a technical railway field. Training in personnel management (e.g. federally recognised leadership specialist, commercial technical, public transport specialist) is an asset – or you are willing to undertake it within the next two years.
- You have good IT skills (Office 365, SAP) and a category B driving licence is essential.
