The Municipality of Lutry is advertising the position of:

Within the Works and Estates Department, you will ensure the maintenance of public spaces in a sector, as well as the supervision and proper functioning of port facilities. Present at the heart of the most frequented places in the Municipality, you directly contribute to their quality, safety, and the welcome of users.

YOUR TASKS

• You carry out daily rounds and ensure the cleanliness of streets, alleys, squares, quays, underpasses, bus stops, beaches, and other public spaces in the assigned sector.
• You empty bins, collect waste, maintain sanitary facilities, and replenish dispensers of dog waste bags "Bravo-set".
• You perform periodic maintenance work, including scrubbing public toilets, cleaning shop windows and equipment, as well as manual weeding of public spaces.
• You maintain the harbour, the water body, dykes, jetties, moorings, slopes, banks, and municipal premises related to port activities.
• You monitor the condition of port structures, boats, and the lake during your working hours, report necessary repairs, and intervene in emergencies to prevent or limit damage.
• You control the occupation of visitor spaces, record registrations, keep the stopover register, and transmit information and any irregularities to the police secretariat.
• You provide courteous and professional information to users and manage remarks, complaints, or delicate situations calmly, diplomatically, and firmly.
• You promptly report any incident, irregularity, damage, or need for intervention and collaborate closely with the roads manager, police secretariat, municipal services, and, if necessary, rescue services.

YOUR PROFILE

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an operations agent or equivalent training in a technical trade, roads, or green spaces.
• Practical experience in maintaining public spaces, roads, green spaces, or a comparable field is desirable.
• Good physical condition, manual dexterity, technical understanding, and good knowledge of vehicles, machines, and equipment necessary for the role.
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy, reliability, and ability to organise rounds and priorities effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, sociability, diplomacy, neat appearance, and ability to manage demanding public and delicate or conflictual situations calmly.
• Team spirit, sense of public service, and flexibility regarding working hours, especially in case of on-call duty, emergencies, events, or replacements.
• Category B driving licence; trailer licence is an asset.
• Boat driving licence is a real asset; if not held, willingness to undertake the necessary training to obtain it.
