Responsibilities:
You operate, maintain, and manage the lifecycle of server hardware from procurement to replacement
In this role, you install, configure, and operate application servers in Windows and Linux environments
As an IT System Engineer, you take responsibility as the contact person for the server infrastructure of logistics systems and act as an interface to various stakeholders
You automate operational, deployment, and maintenance processes with PowerShell and Bash
In this role, you contribute to projects such as migrations, patch and update management, system hardening, and platform development
As an IT System Engineer, you analyse and resolve issues in 3rd level support and ensure the stable operation of business-critical systems
Qualifications:
You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ platform development or an equivalent qualification, ideally with further education at HF or FH level
You have several years of professional experience as a system engineer in the Windows environment, ideally complemented by Linux knowledge
You are fluent in German and have good English skills
You have solid experience with Windows and Linux server environments, especially in Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, Ansible, and Docker
You confidently automate recurring tasks with PowerShell and Bash and are familiar with virtualisation (VMware or Hyper-V), server hardware, as well as storage and backup concepts
