About the job
We are looking for a leader for our Technical Services! The Lindenhof nursing home in Oftringen is an established retirement and care home with a wide range of services. In addition to care and our own Spitex, we have a gastronomy service (including catering) as well as various therapeutic offerings. With around 280 employees, we are a reliable employer in the region. We are seeking an experienced manager with project management skills to restructure our Technical Services, question existing processes, and professionally advance our construction projects.
Your mission: Plan, lead, renovate and shape
You take overall responsibility for the Technical Services – and that is much more than mere maintenance. Your main task is to manage our infrastructure with professional project management. You question existing processes, develop a holistic concept, and implement it step by step.
- Project leadership & management: You are the strong partner of the management and take on the planning, coordination, and implementation of construction and infrastructure projects. This includes building renovations and optimisation of energy efficiency.
- Technical & leadership responsibility: You lead, motivate, and develop your team. This includes those responsible for technology, caretaking, vehicle fleet, gardening, and ICT.
- Responsibility for safety & compliance: As the delegated safety officer (SiBe), you guarantee compliance with all regulations (VKF, EKAS, Suva) and conduct training in your area.
- Operations & maintenance: You ensure the smooth operation of all technical systems (nurse call system, etc.), coordinate maintenance with external partners, and are a "hands-on" person who pitches in when needed.
Your profile: A proactive personality with foresight
- Professional qualification: Completed apprenticeship as a specialist in operational maintenance EFZ, building technician, or a comparable craft/technical qualification with relevant further training.
- Further training: Completed training as a safety officer (SiBe) or willingness to obtain this qualification.
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in technical building maintenance, ideally in a nursing home, hospital, or a similar facility with high safety standards.
- Leadership skills: Experience in technical and personnel management of employees as well as strong communication skills to make technical matters understandable to non-technicians.
- The decisive quality: Solid project management experience to tackle our construction and infrastructure challenges in a structured and successful manner.
What awaits you: An exciting role with plenty of scope for creativity
- A responsible and meaningful position at the heart of the house.
- A motivated team with professional expertise.
- A working environment that not only allows but actively encourages your ideas for modernisation and improvement.
- Contemporary employment conditions with a market-appropriate annual salary.
- Support for your own professional and personal development.
Our strength – your advantage:
- You have minimal social security deductions: The deduction for daily sickness allowance insurance and non-occupational accident insurance is covered by LINDENHOF. For the BVG deductions, you pay 40% and LINDENHOF 60%.
- You receive discounts on services from LINDENHOF (for example medical massage, gastronomy offers, podiatry…) and obtain Reka checks at 20% discount.
- You can train free of charge in our Lindenhof fitness centre.
- You can park your car free of charge in our parking spaces.
- Our family-friendly company enables you to use the KiTa/Hort offer at special rates. The KiTa settling-in period for employees as well as the KiTa and Hort enrolment fees for employees are free of charge.
- With our internal and external training offers, we support you on your professional path.
