Role:
WLAN infrastructure is the backbone of modern corporate networks, and this is exactly where the work as an Enterprise Wireless Engineer begins. You shape the architecture of an established wireless landscape and actively design its future. You are the first point of contact for technically demanding issues and take responsibility in projects. Close collaboration with adjacent network and security teams is part of your daily routine, as is driving new approaches in wireless communication.
Responsibilities:
You design the architecture of the WLAN landscape and continuously develop it
As a technical lead, you advance projects in the wireless environment
You plan and optimise network environments for various site types, from headquarters to logistics locations
You analyse complex WLAN fault patterns and find viable solutions
Additionally, you coordinate closely with security and network teams and evaluate new technological approaches
Qualifications:
A completed vocational training (EFZ) in the IT field forms your foundation, ideally complemented by further education at HF, FH, or university level
You have been confidently operating in the enterprise WLAN environment for several years
Design, troubleshooting, and optimisation of demanding WLAN environments are among your strengths
You bring experience with systems such as Network Access Control or LAN switching; basic knowledge of Python and APIs for automation tasks is welcome
Certificates such as CCNA or CCNP complete your profile but are not a prerequisite
You are occasionally available for on-call duties and assignments outside regular working hours
You have solid German skills and manage basic English.
