For our Migros partner branches on Zürcherstrasse/Wasgenring, we are looking for a committed individual who combines retail and vocational training.

What sets us apart from many traditional retail businesses: Up to 15 apprentices complete their training with us simultaneously. Vocational training is therefore not a side task but an important part of our operation.

You take responsibility beyond the individual branches, keep an overview of the training of our apprentices and actively participate in day-to-day business.

Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for the vocational training of our EBA and EFZ apprentices
• Coordination of training and ensuring appointments, requirements and training processes
• Responsibility for inter-company course registrations, educational reports, learning documentation as well as location and training discussions
• Support and promotion of apprentices in everyday work and practical imparting of specialist knowledge
• Support for teams and trainers as well as recognising development and support needs
• Active participation in the shop and responsibility for an assigned task or department area
• Ensuring professional stock management, freshness and quality as well as checking write-offs and spoilage
• Recognising and implementing improvements in your own area of responsibility

What you must bring

• Completed training in retail, specialising in food
• Completed trainer course
• Experience in vocational training in food retail
• Strong interconnected thinking and understanding of operational contexts
• Good business understanding and experience in stock management, quality and profitability
• Strong social understanding and enjoyment of working with different apprentices
• Ability to combine operational requirements and individual support
• Structured, conscientious and quality-conscious working style
• Initiative, sense of responsibility and organisational skills
• Enjoyment of practical work in the shop
• Confident use of digital work tools

You are ready for early and late shifts as well as occasional Saturday shifts. The Saturday shifts explicitly do not take place every Saturday.
