What awaits you.
An innovative and dynamic team from the Facilities department is waiting for you. At SBB Cargo Ltd, you will take on a varied and responsible design role as a facilities manager for production sites and as a space coordinator for the entire SBB Cargo Ltd. You will participate in the forward-looking transformation of SBB Cargo Ltd and contribute decisively to its success. For social benefits such as free GA travelcard and discounted foreign trips (also for family), please visit our website under Social Benefits.
What you can move.
- Together with the team, you actively participate in the strategic implementation of production site facilities management and take responsibility for operational implementation. Spread throughout Switzerland, the production sites serve as break, team or storage locations for SBB Cargo Ltd's shunting and locomotive staff, where freight wagons are assembled and prepared for transport.
- As a facilities manager, you are the first point of contact for the users of the production sites. You ensure the availability and proper functioning of the facilities, whether rented premises or essential equipment such as technical cabinets, hazardous goods cabinets and electronic devices. You coordinate exchanges with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Procurement and Human Resources as well as with other SBB divisions, including Real Estate, Infrastructure and Passenger Production.
- You implement facilities management based on the strategy of the new production model. In associated projects with other divisions or external partners, you proactively represent the users’ needs as a User Project Manager and organise the necessary project structure internally.
- As a space coordinator, you represent the interests of SBB Cargo Ltd within the SBB and are responsible for the corresponding internal service agreements.
- You also actively contribute to the establishment and structuring of the production site facilities portfolio, including investments and operating costs, so that the sites can be managed economically within the framework of space management.
What you bring.
- An enterprising person with a sense of humour and action-oriented, you integrate easily into the team and work independently. You enjoy contributing your ideas to building the Facilities department.
- Conceptual and strategic thinking as well as a solution-oriented approach and a good dose of pragmatism characterise your actions.
- An affinity for the railway environment, ease in contact with diverse people and willingness to travel within Switzerland complete your profile. Stakeholder management at various levels is familiar to you and you feel comfortable in the world of real estate projects.
- You hold a degree from a technical or business university of applied sciences, ideally complemented by project management knowledge.
- Communication skills adapted to target audiences and confident expression in German and French at least at C1 level complete your profile. Knowledge of other languages, especially Italian, is an advantage.
