Senior Physician or Deputy Senior Physician Internal Medicine

As a primary care provider in the Bernese Seeland and part of the Insel Group, we cover the entire general internal medicine spectrum - with 24/7 emergency service, dialysis, and our own ambulance service. We are an SIWF training centre category B and work closely with various specialist disciplines on site as well as the university network of the Insel Group. What to expect

• Senior medical care of patients in General Internal Medicine on the wards and the interdisciplinary emergency department, including internal medicine consultations
• Supervision & teaching of assistant physicians
• Close collaboration with surgery/orthopaedics, radiology, ambulance service and the 24/7 emergency department
• Participation in senior medical on-call duties

What you bring

• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine (or equivalent); for Deputy Senior Physician: advanced training
• Mebeko recognition (mandatory)
• Solid German language skills at minimum level C1, French skills advantageous
• Particular interest in emergency medicine, ultrasound skills advantageous
• Team orientation and structured working method
