About the Role
The role of Operations Team Member encompasses a range of diverse tasks that play a key role in the manufacturing operations at Avery Dennison. In this position, you follow standard operating procedures to improve product and process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality. You support initiatives in safety, quality, and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and site goals.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to specifications for volume, speed, and quality.
- Perform shipping and receiving activities as well as accurate data entry into systems.
- Carry out basic maintenance and upkeep tasks on machines and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and actively participate in quality controls.
- Support the team in completing essential tasks required for plant operations.
- Work in a three-shift system with weekly shift rotation.
Qualifications
- Experience operating production machinery or in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety and quality orientation.
- Basic mechanical understanding and manual skills for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Meticulous working style with attention to detail and basic computer skills for documentation.
- Adaptability and team spirit to support shared site objectives.
