Head of Network Operations and Substation Construction

You want to ensure that electricity reliably reaches where it is needed? In this key role, you ensure the safe and efficient operation of our distribution network – from medium voltage through low voltage to street lighting. You plan and coordinate maintenance, take responsibility for network quality, and attend to the concerns of our customers. Become part of the energy future!

What to expect

• You lead with oversight: Your team counts on you – whether for deployment planning, everyday support, or clear decisions in tricky situations.
• With you, the network runs smoothly: You plan, control, and document all maintenance work on transformer stations and distribution cabinets.
• Safety is your thing: You create switching and work programmes and ensure that everything runs safely and efficiently in the medium voltage network.
• Keeping an eye on load profiles: You identify optimisation potential in network operations, ensure selectivity, and continuously improve our network performance.
• Showing customer proximity: You are the contact person for questions about network availability, faults, or street lighting – solution-oriented and competent.
• More than just electricity: From fixed connections to on-call duties to Christmas lighting – you coordinate, monitor, and ensure that everything runs correctly.

What you bring

• You have a higher professional qualification as an electrical installer or network electrician and ideally have already gained broad experience in operating the distribution network.
• With your leadership experience, you create an environment where collaboration is lived on an equal footing and your team grows beyond itself together.
• Thanks to your confident manner, clear communication style, and fluent German skills in spoken and written form, you lead your team convincingly, make decisions with foresight, and implement them purposefully.
• You like to get involved, enjoy being on the move, and advise customers competently and solution-oriented.
