You contribute to designing safe and reliable railway infrastructures with a direct impact for customers. You will work in a varied environment within the Engineering Structures team of Romandy, where collaboration and knowledge transfer are part of everyday life. During the first two years, you will benefit from comprehensive training focused on railways and will continue to develop. Currently, two positions are vacant in Renens. One mainly covers the Valais line, including Upper Valais. The other mainly covers the Jura-Neuchâtel line. What you can move forward.

• As a project manager, you manage a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects and lead engineering structures from preliminary design to commissioning.
• You take overall responsibility for projects and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality, and safety.
• You coordinate internal specialists as well as external contractors and various stakeholders, ensuring an effective interface with railway operations.
• You check and validate designs, size load-bearing structures, and conduct internal expert assessments if necessary.
• Depending on the file, you take overall responsibility for the execution of works and represent projects in committees or with external organisations.

What you bring.

• Thanks to your proactive and committed working style, you lead interdisciplinary teams and convince diverse stakeholders.
• In demanding project situations, you solve problems in a structured manner and communicate clearly and appropriately with interlocutors.
• You bring several years of professional experience, for example in an engineering office, construction management, or project leadership; initial experience in railway project management is an advantage.
• You have solid technical knowledge in calculation, design, and execution of load-bearing structures, for example with experience in reinforced concrete and steel construction.
• You hold a degree in civil engineering (ETH, HES/HEI or equivalent qualification) and use French at C1 level and German at B2 level in a professional context.
