Service and Banqueting Employee (M/F/D)

On behalf of one of our clients, a recognised healthcare institution, we are looking for a: Service and Banqueting Employee (M/F/D)

Main tasks:

• Warmly welcome clients, patients and guests within the dining areas and during the institution's events.
  
• Ensure the setting up, table laying and replenishment of buffets and service counters.
  
• Actively participate in banquet service by providing tray service (smooth circulation among guests with trays of glasses and canapés).
  
• Handle payment operations and ensure rigorous cash register management if necessary.
  
• Strictly ensure compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards in the service area, buffets and reception room.
  
• Clear tables, trays and perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the areas.
  
• Collaborate with the team to guarantee a smooth, efficient and high-quality banquet service.

Profile sought:

• Proven experience of at least 2 years in service (restaurant, tearoom, events or banqueting), ideally in a community or healthcare setting.
  
• Perfect mastery of tray service (ability to move confidently and elegantly among guests with a tray of glasses).
  
• Practical experience in setting up and managing buffets, as well as in payment handling and cash register management.
  
• Excellent presentation, friendly, smiling attitude and great interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work in a team, follow precise instructions and manage stress during busy periods (rush hours at banquets).
  
• Excellent command of spoken and written French (minimum C1 level required).
  
  Administrative criteria:
  

• Swiss or holder of a valid B or C residence permit
• Clean criminal record
  
  Additional information:

• Working hours: From 6:00 am to 9:30 pm, including weekends and public holidays (variable hours according to schedule).
